Charlton Athletic midfielder Scott Fraser has been nominated for League One Player of the Month for January.
The Scotsman – who joined from Ipswich Town in the winter of 2022 – scored twice and grabbed himself one assist during four matches in January.
Fraser scored the Addicks’ second goal in the 3-1 win at Portsmouth on New Year’s Day and doubled their lead in the 2-1 win at home to Lincoln City. The 27-year-old also set up Corey Blackett-Taylor for the winner against the Imps.
The former Milton Keynes and Burton Albion player has made 40 appearances during his time at The Valley, scoring five times and registering five assists in all competitions.
Bolton Wanderers striker Dion Charles, who scored four goals and grabbed one assist last month, is also up for the award.
Luke Leahy has been nominated alongside Charles and Fraser for his performances for Shrewsbury Town after he scored three goals and picked up two assists last month.
Sheffield Wednesday forward Josh Windass is also in contention to claim the award after he picked up three goals and one assist for Darren Moore’s promotion hopefuls.
The winner will be announced on Friday morning.
The judging panel for the Sky Bet Player of the Month comprises Sky Sports’ EFL expert Don Goodman, EFL Chief Executive Trevor Birch and Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies.
