Charlton Athletic reject bids for striker Josh Davison
Charlton Athletic have rejected bids for Josh Davison. But the Addicks are open to selling the centre-forward.
The 22-year-old impressed on loan at Swindon Town last season, scoring nine goals in 21 matches for the League Two club, who were then managed by new Addicks boss Ben Garner.
Davison is in the final year of his contract with Charlton.
The South London Press understands that the Addicks would cash in on the hard-working frontman.
Davison has netted six times in 35 matches for Charlton, who he joined in October 2019 after leaving Enfield Town.
He also had another loan spell away from SE7, playing the second half of the 2020-21 campaign at Forest Green Rovers.
We reported earlier in the week that the South Londoners were also open to the idea of midfielder Jake Forster-Caskey moving on.
The former Milton Keynes and Brighton player has interest and is facing a battle for regular game time, with the Addicks keen to strengthen even further in that department.
