Charlton Athletic sell out again in League One – 1,193 will roar on Nathan Jones’ side at Stockport County
Charlton Athletic have sold out their away allocation for Saturday’s League One fixture against Stockport County.
Both clubs are in strong positions to secure at least a League One play-off spot.
The Addicks have seen their 1,193 tickets for the match – a lunchtime kick off – all snapped up.
Charlton had a following of 1,263 at last weekend’s derby victory over Leyton Orient which moved them into the top six.
A lot of the fanbase in attendance stayed behind for 20 minutes after the match as they celebrated a vital win.
Macaulay Gillesphey and Kayne Ramsay scored from set-pieces in second-half stoppage time to turn around the contest.
Charlton have seven away fixtures remaining. They follow up the trip to Stockport with the rearranged game at Crawley Town, that was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch over Christmas, next Tuesday.
Stockport have won their last four home matches. Only Birmingham (45) and Wrexham (40) have collected more home points than County (36), although the Welsh club have completed 18 home fixtures compared to Stockport’s 17.
Charlton are joint fourth with Reading on 35 in terms of home points and get the chance to improve that tomorrow evening when Barnsley head to The Valley.
