Charlton boss nominated for League One Manager of the Month

Charlton manager Nathan Jones has been nominated for Manager of the Month for March.

The former Luton and Southampton boss picked up five wins in seven games over the last month, with the Addicks climbing the table and looking primed to claim a play-off spot towards the end of the campaign.

South Londoners Charlton also registered four clean sheets during that run, along with their 16-point haul.

They smashed play-off rivals Huddersfield and claimed wins against Wigan, Crawley, Leyton Orient and Barnsley.

Jones is up for the award alongside Peterbrough’s Darren Ferguson, Reading’s Noel Hunt and Wrexham’s Phil Parkinson.

The judging panel for the Player of the Month comprises former Barnsley manager Danny Wilson, Sky Sports’ EFL expert Don Goodman, and Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies.

All winners will be announced on Friday, April 11.
