Crystal Palace moving closer on deal to sign Genk right-back

Crystal Palace are closing in on a deal to sign Daniel Munoz from Belgian Pro League side Genk, The South London Press understands.

The 27-year-old has featured 148 times for Genk since joining from Atletico Nacional in 2020.

Attacking right-back Munoz has registered 19 goals and 20 assists for Genk.

Munoz is Colombia’s first choice right-back and has 23 international caps to his name.

Both Nathaniel Clyne and Joel Ward are out of contract in the summer.

The Eagles have also had a bid rejected for Blackburn midfielder Adam Wharton.
