Crystal Palace U21’s EFL Trophy group confirmed

Crystal Palace’s U21s will play AFC Wimbledon, Stevenage and Wycombe in the EFL Trophy group stages next season.

The Eagles have been drawn in Group C.

Darren Powell’s side finished fourth in the Premier League 2 table last season.

Palace finished third in Group M last season, with Bristol Rovers and Plymouth progressing through to the knockout stages.

The Eagles recorded their first ever victory in this competition against AFC Wimbledon in 2021/22, with goals coming from Rob Street and Jesurun Rak-Saky against Mark Robinson’s side.

Stevenage and Wycombe both play in League One. And Wimbledon have recruited well ahead of next season as they prepare for their second consecutive campaign in League Two.
