Danny Hylton agrees new player-coach deal at Charlton Athletic

Danny Hylton has extended his player-coach contract at Charlton Athletic.

The 35-year-old initially joined the Addicks in the middle of September on a short-term contract.

But Hylton has now agreed new terms keeping him with the League One club until the end of the season.

He continued to train with Charlton after his old deal expired in January.

Charlton manager Nathan Jones said: “Danny has had a really positive impact on the environment here and has also played an important role in supporting the development of our young strikers.

“He’s at the start of his coaching career and already his experience has been invaluable, so I’m pleased he’s signed a new contract with us.”
