Former Charlton and Crystal Palace midfielder looks set to join League Two side
Ex-Crystal Palace and Charlton midfielder Jonny Williams is reportedly set to join League Two side Bradford City after leaving Swindon on a free transfer in May.
The Sun have reported that Williams will sign a three-year deal with Bradford and has turned down deals from League Two rivals Wrexham, Notts County and Gillingham to link up with Mark Hughes at Valley Parade.
League One side Northampton reportedly also offered free agent Williams a deal.
Williams, 29, progressed through the ranks at Crystal Palace and made 70 appearances at Selhurst Park.
The Welsh international midfielder joined Charlton in 2019 after he was released by the Eagles and featured 66 times during his time at the Valley, scoring twice and picking up six assists.
Across his two-year spell with Swindon, Williams featured 84 times, scoring 15 goals and registering 10 assists.
Ex-Cardiff and Sunderland man Williams picked up 33 caps for Wales before retiring from international football after the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
Bradford reached the League Two play-off semi-finals last season but were knocked out by Carlise, who were promoted.
