Former Charlton winger makes Dulwich Hamlet move

Former Charlton winger Mark Marshall has joined Isthmian League Premier Division side Dulwich Hamlet.

The 37-year-old has signed up for the season after leaving Carshalton Athletic at the end of last season.

Marshall joined the Addicks as a free agent from Bradford City on a two-year deal in 2017.

He made 60 appearances for Charlton and registered eight goal contributions before leaving to join Gillingham in 2019.

Marshall has had spells with Coventry, Northampton, Barnet and Crawley during his career.

He told the club website: “Being in and around the place and seeing everything the football management and the overall management team is trying to do with the club, I’m delighted.

“I feel that the club is going places and I want to be a part of it.

“I grew up in and around South London. When we were younger, the boys who weren’t professional had aspirations of coming here, because this club created a pathway of progression for young players.

“I want to be a part of this and hopefully help the club go in the direction it wants to go in.

“I want to contribute as much as possible – I want to be entertaining.

“It’s all about success for the team. I want to make sure I’m a good team-mate and contribute with goals and assists  to get us to where we want to go.”
