Ipswich Town weighing up move for Charlton Athletic keeper Ben Amos
Ipswich Town have emerged as a possible destination for Charlton Athletic goalkeeper Ben Amos.
The 31-year-old is out of contract at the start of next month.
And the South London Press has been told that Amos is under consideration by the Tractor Boys as they look to add to their shotstopping department.
Charlton have offered Amos a deal and manager Nigel Adkins has already stated his desire to have the former Manchester United and Bolton Wanderers man as his number one again in the 2021-22 season.
The Addicks plan to loan out Ashley Maynard-Brewer if Amos commits to new terms in SE7.
Charlton have yet to announce any contract renewals but did make their first signing of the summer when Jayden Stockley joined from Preston North End for an undisclosed fee earlier this week.
