Karl Robinson provides update on potential signing of Charlton trialist Leon Best
Karl Robinson has provided an update on the potential signing of trialist Leon Best.
31-year-old Best has been training with the South Londoners for over a month. The striker has been without a club since his release by Ipswich Town in the summer, and scored for Robinson’s men in a behind-closed-doors friendly with QPR during the international break.
“We’ve just got one or two things that we’ve just got to get sorted,” explained the Addicks boss.
“First and foremost we’re worrying about the players that are at the football club and seeing what we have. Seeing if we have something in the youth team to promote. If not, then we’ll start looking to do something elsewhere.”
