Lukas Jensen has had tricky start to Millwall career but pulled out big saves in win at Swansea
Neil Harris had praise for Lukas Jensen following Millwall’s 1-0 win at Swansea this afternoon.
The former Lincoln City keeper has had a mixed start to life at The Den but produced a fine display during the contest in South Wales.
He produced an excellent double save in the second half which proved vital as Casper De Norre scored a stoppage-time winner for the Lions.
Harris said: “It is a big moment for Lukas in his Millwall career so far.
“He is finding his way, I’ll talk freely about that – as I do about the youngsters, they are coming in and finding their way. It can be a difficult club to play for sometimes and you have to earn the right to play and be respected by your peers and the fanbase.
“Lukas is finding his way and has been well-marshalled by the group in front of him, let’s be honest. But today he’s made some really top saves for us and kept the game at 0-0 which has given us the opportunity to get the ball down the other end and win the game, huge credit to Lukas for today.”
