Millwall defender makes loan return to League Two new boys
Millwall defender Kamarl Grant has signed up for another loan stint at Bromley.
The 21-year-old spent the final months of last season with the Ravens as they won promotion to League Two via the National League play-offs.
Grant’s return to Andy Woodman’s squad is initially until the January transfer window.
“Kamarl impressed by starting and playing every minute during the National League play-offs as an integral part of the promotion-clinching back line, showing an impressive degree of class,” said Bromley in an official statement.
“The 21-year-old, who penned a new deal at The Den today, started his career with the Kinetic Academy before he joined then-Premier league side Sheffield United’s youth set-up at just 16. After two years, and a loan to Gainsborough Trinity, he would go on to join Millwall U21s.
“The centre–back first arrived at Hayes Lane on loan in February and made his first start against Hartlepool United on March 3, going on to make 13 appearances.”
Grant could feature for Bromley in their friendly against Bristol Rovers on Tuesday. They then host Brighton next Saturday (2pm).
