Olise and Rak-Sakyi set to boost Palace manager’s selection options for Manchester City meeting

Crystal Palace are hopeful of welcoming back Michael Olise and Jesurun Rak-Sakyi for tomorrow’s home clash against Manchester City.

The attacking duo are yet to feature for Oliver Glasner since the Austrian boss replaced Roy Hodgson in February.

Both returned to training prior to Saturday’s 1-1 draw at Forest, but Glasner revealed they had only taken part in sessions rather than the full training programme.

Olise picked up a serious hamstring injury in early February during the 4-1 defeat at Brighton – Hodgson’s final away game in charge – but was replaced just 10 minutes after coming on as a sub.

Ex-Charlton loanee Rak-Sakyi has been absent from a Premier League squad since he picked up a hamstring injury in training before the 2-0 win at Burnley in November.

Southwark-born Rak-Sakyi, 21, was nearing a return in early February but suffered a separate hamstring issue in a U21 clash win over Ipswich.

The winger has spent eight weeks out but is set to be ready to enter the fray again.
