Paddy McCarthy and Ray Lewington set to take charge of Crystal Palace’s clash at Everton
Paddy McCarthy and Ray Lewington are set to take charge of Crystal Palace for tonight’s Premier League game at Everton.
The former Palace defender McCarthy took charge of the 3-1 defeat at Aston Villa in September alongside the experienced Lewington after boss Roy Hodgson became unwell before the clash at Villa Park.
Hodgson collapsed during training on Thursday but has recovered well and wanted to play a role in tonight’s game, but McCarthy and Lewington are set to take charge of the important fixture at the bottom of the Premier League.
Palace are four points clear of 18th-placed Everton – two places above them in the table – but are without Marc Guehi, Eberechi Eze and Michael Olise.
Academy duo Jadan Raymond and Franco Umeh are also expected to have travelled with the first team to Goodison Park.
Oliver Glasner, who has been staying in London, has agreed a deal to become the new Crystal Palace boss.
