Portsmouth still keen on summer swoop for Crystal Palace midfielder

League One winners Portsmouth remain keen on a deal to sign Crystal Palace youngster Jadan Raymond this summer.

The South London Press understands that Raymond will have one year left on his deal come the start of next season.

Raymond was close to a move to John Mousinho’s side last January but the 20-year-old ended up staying at Selhurst Park.

The Wales U21 international has been included in the matchday squad twice this season for Palace’s senior side.

Attacking midfielder Raymond has been with the Eagles since the age of eight and has four EFL Trophy outings under his belt.

Pompey won the third tier and ended their 12-year wait for a return to the Championship this season.
