QPR and Fulham ‘locked in talks’ over deal for midfielder Stefan Johansen
Queens Park Rangers and Fulham are reportedly locked in talks over making Stefan Johansen’s move into a permanent switch this summer.
TalkSPORT are reporting that QPR are working around the clock to finalise the deal, however they say that an announcement is not yet imminent.
The Norwegian midfielder spent the second half of the season on loan from Fulham at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium. He made 21 appearances and scored four goals as the R’s finished ninth in the Championship.
The 30-year-old still has one more year remaining on his contract with the Cottagers.
If the R’s were to sign Johansen, it would mean they had made all four loanees permanent additions, with Jordy de Wijs, Sam Field and Charlie Austin all making the switch to west London.
