‘Quality in abundance’ – Bromley boss delivers verdict on signing free agent former Arsenal and Charlton defender

Bromley boss Andy Woodman says new signing Carl Jenkinson will bring an abundance of quality to his League Two side.

The 32-year-old former Arsenal defender was an unused substitute in the Ravens’ 1-1 draw with Milton Keynes on Saturday.

Former Charlton academy graduate Jenkinson was announced as a Bromley player on Friday.

He has also had spells with Nottingham Forest and West Ham in his career.

“Carl has come to us – he has quality in abundance,” said Woodman to Bromley’s YouTube channel.

“We’re delighted to have him onboard.

“It won’t be long probably before we get him on the pitch.

“We need a few more training sessions to get him where we want him and in and amongst us.

“To have a player of Carl Jenkinson’s quality at our football club is fantastic.”
