Released Millwall striker lands National League South transfer

Abdul Abdulmalik has signed for National League South side Boreham Wood on a free transfer.

The 21-year-old left Millwall as a free agent this summer and was unable to make a first-team appearance after coming through the club’s academy.

He joined National League side Wealdstone on loan at the start of the 2023-24 season, making nine appearances.

Abdulmalik spent time on trial with Portsmouth in 2021.

Wood boss Ross Jenkins said: “I’m delighted to get Abdul on board. He’s an exciting player who can change a game with his attacking abilities and speed.

“Having fresh legs and enthusiasm is key to a squad and he also adds a different dynamic to our ranks.”
