Flemming joins Burnley!

The South London Press can confirm that Zian Flemming has joined Burnley from Millwall.

Flemming’s deal is a loan with an obligation to buy.

Crystal Palace turn down Ajax winger

The South London Press has been told that Crystal Palace turned down the chance to sign Ajax winger Carlos Forbs this window.

Wolves are set to sign the 20-year-old on loan and also have an option to buy him for 13.5m euros next summer.

He made 37 appearances in all competitions last season for Ajax.

Millwall attacker set for Burnley switch

Zian Flemming is Burnley bound, the South London Press understands.

The Millwall attacker wants the move to the Clarets, who made multiple attempts to sign him when they were in the Premier League.

Flemming, 25, has made 92 Millwall appearances in all competitions since joining Fortuna Sittard.

He has picked up 31 goal contributions.

Eddie the Eagle

Crystal Palace have announced the signing of Eddie Nketiah on a five-year deal from Arsenal.

The Eagles have agreed a deal up to £30million in add-ons for the Deptford-raised forward.

Ex-Leeds loanee Nketiah becomes the club’s fifth signing of the summer transfer window, joining Chadi Riad, Daichi Kamada, Ismaïla Sarr and Maxence Lacroix in Palace’s squad

Nketiah said: “It’s amazing to sign for Crystal Palace – I’m excited to get going. Every time I come back to South London, it always puts a smile on my face, so it’s good to be back home.”

Chairman Steve Parish said: “It’s brilliant to welcome Eddie, a senior England international, back to South London – we are delighted he has signed for Crystal Palace. I am confident that his energy, talent and hunger to succeed will endear him to his new teammates and supporters alike.”

Wilfried Zaha completes Lyon loan

Lyon have announced the season-long loan signing of Wilfried Zaha from Galatasaray.

The French side have announced they have paid €3 million for Zaha’s loan deal.

Palace explored the opportunity to sign the 31-year-old from Turkey this summer, but Zaha would have been slapped with a huge tax bill if he did return to England.

Eagles midfielder completes France loan

Crystal Palace midfielder Naouirou Ahamada has joined Stade Rennais on a season-long loan deal.

Ahamada joined Palace from Stuttgart in 2023 and has since made 31 appearances for the Eagles, but yet to start a Premier League game.

Rennes finished 10th last season, just six points outside the UEFA Conference League places.

Crystal Palace striker undergoing Leicester medical

Odsonne Edouard is undergoing a medical with Leicester City ahead of a season-long loan move from Crystal Palace.

The Eagles are signing Eddie Nketiah, and Edouard is allowed to leave Selhurst Park.

Charlton set to release midfielder

Charlton will release midfielder Scott Fraser in order to allow him to secure a move away from the Valley.

The South London Press understands that Dundee are keen on signing the 29-year-old.

Fraser spent last season on loan with Hearts in the Scottish Premiership.

Palace confirm Lacroix deal

Crystal Palace have announced the signing of Maxence Lacroix, who arrives from VfL Wolfsburg on a five-year deal.

The 24-year-old central defender becomes our fourth signing of the transfer window, and heads to the Premier League after four seasons in the German top-flight. He will wear the No. 5 shirt for Palace.

Palace chairman Steve Parish said: “We have watched Maxence play at the very highest level of European football and we are delighted to be able to welcome him to Selhurst Park.

“He is another young, talented player to add to the club, and I am sure he will prove himself to be a valuable asset for Oliver and the squad.”

Lacroix said: “It’s like a dream for a young football player. I’m really happy to be here and arrive at this good team.

“I watched Palace’s last games and I was really happy for the coach, because I’d played under him before. I think it’s the right moment to move to the Premier League.”

Burnley make more bids for Millwall playmaker

Burnley have made more bids for Zian Flemming, the South London Press understands.

None of them are deemed acceptable as of yet.

Millwall are in strong position in that they are not under any pressure to sell their number 10.

Leicester look to swoop for Crystal Palace striker

Leicester City are looking to make a late move to sign Crystal Palace striker Odsonne Edouard on loan before tonight’s 23:00 deadline.

The Eagles are allowing the former Celtic striker to leave, with Eddie Nketiah’s arrival from Arsenal poised to be announced.

Edouard started Palace’s last Premier League outing – a 2-0 defeat at home to West Ham.

Ipswich had also been keen on a move for the 26-year-old.

League One side eye loan deal for former Wimbledon defender

League One side Leyton Orient are eyeing a late deadline day loan deal for former AFC Wimbledon defender Jack Currie, the South London Press understands.

The deal would be a real coup for Orient if they could pull it off before tonight’s 23:00 deadline.

Currie left Wimbledon to join Oxford this summer but has not had a look in under boss Des Buckingham.

The 22-year-old was one of the most consistent youngsters in League Two under Johnnie Jackson.

Bromley complete double swoop – with former Millwall winger joining

Bromley have announced the signing of midfielder Ben Thompson and Josh Thomas.

Ex-Millwall youngster Thompson has joined on a season-long loan from League One side Stevenage.

He has also had spells with Peterborough and Gillingham.

Thomas, 21, arrives on loan from Championship side Swansea City.

Crystal Palace are set to miss out on left wing-back target Robin Gosens.

Coburn confirmed by Millwall

Millwall have confirmed their 10th signing of the summer, with Josh Coburn joining on loan from Championship rivals Middlesbrough.

The 21-year-old has penned a season-long loan from Michael Carrick’s side.

“I’m really pleased to get Josh through the door,” said Steve Gallen, Millwall’s director of football.

“A lot of clubs wanted to bring him in over the summer; we’ve been really patient but also really persistent.

“He’s a target man who holds the ball up, runs the channels well and is a good in the air, as well as being a strong boy. He has a very high ceiling, and I’m pleased he is now a Millwall player for the season.”

Coburn will be available for Saturday’s Championship visit of Sheffield Wednesday.

Lambeth-born Championship forward set for Hull switch

Hull City have agreed a fee with Norwich City for forward Abu Kamara.

The South London Press understands the Lambeth-born forward is currently undergoing a medical ahead of a permanent switch.

Kamara spent last season on loan at Portsmouth, helping them win League One and promotion back to the Championship after picking up 21 goal contributions in 52 outings across the campaign.

Crystal Palace set to confirm defender deal

Crystal Palace are set to confirm the signing of Wolfsburg centre-back Maxence Lacroix on a five-year deal.

He will bolster Oliver Glasner’s defensive options alongside Marc Guehi, Rob Holding, Chadi Riad, Joel Ward and Nathaniel Clyne.

Glasner makes transfer admission

Oliver Glanser has confirmed that Crystal Palace are working on adding left wing-back before tonight’s transfer deadline.

The Eagles had Ryan Sessegnon on trial at the start of pre-season, who rejoined Fulham.

Glasner admitted in previous interviews he was keen to add competition for Tyrick Mitchell.

Marc Guehi to remain a Crystal Palace player

The Crystal Palace boss has confirmed that Marc Guehi will remain at Crystal Palace beyond tonight’s 23:00 deadline.

Newcastle submitted multiple bids for the England defender but failed to meet Palace’s £75million valuation.

Millwall complete Coburn move

Millwall have landed one of their top forward targets in this window after completing a loan move for Middlesbrough striker Josh Coburn.

There is no option to buy for the 21-year-old.

Wimbledon midfielder pens new deal

Jake Reeves has signed a new contract extension with AFC Wimbledon.

Reeves’ new deal keeps him with the Dons until the summer of 2026, with his previous contract set to expire at the end of this season.

The 31-year-old rejoined the club last summer and was instantly made captain by Johnnie Jackson.

Nottingham Forest keeper set for Palace medical

Nottingham Forest keeper Matt Turner is on his way to Crystal Palace for a medical, the South London Press understands.

The USA number one is set to be Sam Johnstone’s replacement at Selhurst Park.

Turner, 30, made seven appearances for Arsenal before joining Forest last summer.

He has made 21 appearances at the City Ground.

Palace keeper joins Premier League rival

Wolverhampton Wanderers have signed Crystal Palace goalkeeper Sam Johnstone for £10m.

The 31-year-old moves to Molineux on a four-year contract after two seasons with the Eagles.

Johnstone made 34 appearances for Palace after joining on a free transfer from West Brom in 2022.

Eagles youngster set for National League loan

Crystal Palace midfielder Jack Wells-Morrison is set to join National League side Weladstone.

The South London Press understands the 20-year-old will head out on a six-month deal.

Doncaster and Northampton have been both keen on loans for the youngster in recent windows.

This will be Wells-Morrison’s first taste of senior football away from Selhurst Park.

Palace midfielder hoping for France loan

Crystal Palace midfielder Naouirou Ahamada is wanted by French side Stade Rennais on loan for the rest of the season.

Palace are willing to let the 22-year-old out for game time.

Millwall are chasing a deadline day deal for Middlesbrough striker Josh Coburn.

The 21-year-old scored five Championship goals last season.

He has started the first two games on the bench for Michael Carrick’s side.

Crystal Palace legend Wilfried Zaha is set to join French side Lyon today on a season-long loan from Galatasaray.

The Eagles explored the opportunity to sign the 31-year-old from Turkey this summer, but Zaha would have been slapped with a huge tax bill if he did return to England.

Zaha is now poised to make a switch to France for the first time in his career.

Millwall turn down Burnley Flemming move

Millwall have turned down a bid for Zian Flemming from Burnley.

The Clarets tried to sign the Dutch playmaker multiple times last summer but the Lions stood firm to any interest.

Burnley’s offer this time around was a loan-to-buy, which was rejected.
