Wealdstone boss praises Crystal Palace loanee Jack Wells-Morrison’s contribution in Forest Green comeback
Wealdstone boss Matt Taylor has heaped praise on Crystal Palace loanee Jack Wells-Morrison for his role in helping them come from two-nil down to pick up a 2-2 draw at Forest Green last weekend.
The 20-year-old is on his first senior loan spell away from Selhurst Park and has made an instant impact with the National League side.
Since coming on at half-time on his debut after completing the six-month loan move, Wells-Morrison has started every game under former Shrewsbury manager Taylor.
Matt Taylor told Wealdtsone’s YouTube channel: “I thought Jack Wells-Morrison was exceptional on the ball – he dictated the game.
“For a young player like him, to be able to do that on his first loan, is really positive.”
