Will Millwall make more signings before Monday’s transfer deadline? Lions boss Neil has his say

Alex Neil has not ruled out Millwall making more additions to their squad before Monday’s transfer deadline.

The Lions have had a busy week with two notable additions made – Luke Cundle and Camiel Neghli.

Cundle scored on his debut in today’s 2-1 win over QPR at The Den. The Wolves attacking midfielder has signed a three-and-a-half-year contract at Millwall.

Neghli has cost a club record fee from Sparta Rotterdam. The 23-year-old’s switch was not done in time for him to be in the matchday squad for the Championship fixture against the R’s.

Asked if there will be more signings ahead of the cut-off at the start of the week, Neil said: “Never say never.

“I’m not sure. We have a designated recruitment team that focuses on that 24-7. What I do is I dip into it, if and when I need to, when we are looking at players, discussing players or different things like this or that.

“My focus has been on the games because they are the most important thing to me at this moment in time.

“But the window is still open, so let’s wait and see.”
