Talk of the town: Carols by Candlelight, St Mary’s Church

David and Jonathan Dimbleby welcome you to an evening of festive music and verse as they host Carols by Candlelight at St Mary’s Church in aid of Dimbleby Cancer Care.

Getting you in the Christmas mood will be special guests including actress Annette Badland and the children of Farringtons School Choir, who will once more be leading the carols.

There will also be a special performance by an ensemble from the Southbank international school. Other performers are to be confirmed.

The service will conclude with a drinks reception and mince pies for the guests.

All money raised from the evening going towards the charity’s work at Guy’s Cancer Centre and the Dimbleby Macmillan Support Centre at Queen Mary’s Sidcup providing practical and psychological support for those going through cancer and their carers and family, with its current focus this year on its recently launched online directory of support services www.cancercaremap.org.
