Teen charged with murder after a man was stabbed to death outside Brixton Tube station
A teenager has been charged with murder after a 23-year-old was stabbed to death outside Brixton Tube station.
Brandon Aldon McNeil, 18, of Lollard Street, was charged on Friday with murder, attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon in a private place.
He appeared before Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Saturday and has been remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey tomorrow.
Cops were called at 8.18pm on Wednesday, July 21, where they found 23-year-old Shane Jerome, of Thornton Heath, fatally stabbed.
Two other teenagers were also arrested in connection with Shane’s death.
A 17-year-old male, who was arrested on Thursday, June 29, has been bailed to return on a date in late August.
A 19-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm has since been released with no further action.
