Transport for London Southwark offices deep-cleaned after worker tests positive for coronavirus
A staff member of Transport for London (TfL) head office has tested positive for Covid-19.
The office in Southwark has been deep-cleaned and was open again on Monday.
The employee did not have direct contact with passengers.
A TfL spokesman said: “We are following advice from Public Health England (PHE) after a staff member tested positive.
“The safety of our staff and customers is our top priority, so we are taking all necessary precautions and a deep clean has taken place within the building used by the staff member.”
