Trio all resume training ahead of Millwall’s EFL Cup tie against Leicester City

Danny McNamara, Benik Afobe and George Evans all trained ahead of Millwall’s EFL Cup third round tie against Leicester City at The Den on Wednesday.

The last time the two sides met the Lions recorded a famous 1-0 victory against the then Premier League champions Leicester to progress to the quarter finals of the FA Cup.

McNamara has not featured since Millwall’s 2-1 defeat against Fulham in August due to a groin injury.

Afobe, who has scored two goals for the Lions since arriving from Stoke on a season-long loan in the summer, has missed the last four matches with a knee injury.

January recruit Evans has also missed the last four games with a groin injury he suffered in training earlier this month.

Shaun Hutchinson is in line to make his first appearance for Millwall, since their 2-1 victory against Portsmouth in the first round of the competition.

Sheyi Ojo has missed the last two games and is a doubt for the cup tie against Leicester due to illness.
