Victim in critical condition after Battersea stabbing

A man is in a life-threatening condition after being stabbed last night, Tuesday.

Police were called to an address in Queenstown Road, Battersea, at 7.30pm following reports of a knife attack.

Officers attended the scene, along with paramedics.

They found a man in his 40s with stab injuries. He was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital.

A man in his 30s was arrested at the address on suspicion of attempted murder.

He has been taken into custody.

Twitter user @ExLambethlAG said: “Count the lives irretrievably harmed through interpersonal violence in the last 12 months…..an almost hidden pandemic.”
