Darren Pratley and Josh Cullen have emerged as potential signings for Charlton Athletic – as Addicks chief Lee Bowyer looks to boost his midfield.
Former Bolton Wanderers man Pratley, 33, is a free agent.
Any deal for West Ham United midfielder Cullen would be a loan.
Bowyer told the South London Press yesterday: “We’re just waiting on an answer from a midfielder. It was meant to be yesterday but they’ve stretched it over a couple of days.
“That will be permanent, if he comes.
“Hopefully this one comes in but it is out of our hands. Other clubs want these players. But trust me, we are trying our hardest to bring them.”
