Will Millwall’s injury setbacks affect Bolton’s attempts to sign Jon Dadi Bodvarsson?

Gary Rowett has indicated that no clubs have made satisfactory offers yet to loan any of his Millwall loan players.

Bolton Wanderers are keen on taking Jon Dadi Bodvarsson on a temporary basis.

But Millwall could see their striking options depleted after Tom Bradshaw came off with a knee injury in Saturday’s 1-0 loss to Forest. Sheyi Ojo also had to be substituted after damaging his ankle.

Asked if those injuries could affect any plans to allow Bodvarsson to leave, Lions boss Rowett said: “No, not really. Jon’s been away with the Icelandic national team in a kind of unofficial two-game tournament, which he has scored and done quite well in it.

“When I say it doesn’t affect it, there is nothing to affect it at the moment. We haven’t had anything sufficient enough to decide we want to let anyone go out the door at the moment.

“We’ll have to sit down and give that some consideration now, being light in those areas.

“We’ll see what the scans come back, if both are going to be out for a considerable period – it’s a bitter blow because we’ve got Ryan Leonard and Dan Ballard out for a while. Every time we seem to get a little bit of momentum this season, something comes up to drive us back into the ground.”
