Winter Warmer events at Churchill this February
Everyone is welcome to join in ‘Winter Warmer’ coffee and cake events at local Churchill Retirement Living developments this February.
Join Churchill Retirement Living at its developments across the local area for a series of special Winter Warmer events to raise funds for local charities.
This February you’ll be welcome to step out of the cold and into the warmth of these developments’ friendly Owners’ Lounges, where you can enjoy coffee, cake and a chat in return for a small donation to a local charity.
Winter Warmer events take place from 11 am on the following dates and locations:
- Wednesday 8th February – Jefferies Lodge, Eltham, in support of Demelza Children’s Hospice
- Wednesday 8th February – Sanderson Lodge, Selsdon, in support of The Chartwell Children’s Cancer Trust
- Wednesday 15th February – Edinburgh Lodge, Orpington, in support of St Christopher’s Hospice
Anne Scherrer, Senior Regional Marketing Manager for Churchill Retirement Living, said:
“We’re looking forward to welcoming people to our Winter Warmer events to raise funds for three fantastic local charities and help them continue their vital work. Every penny counts, which is why we’re asking as many people as possible to come along and support the events and make a donation in return for the refreshments on offer. It’s the perfect excuse to enjoy a bit of indulgence, as well as an opportunity for visitors to experience the lifestyle, friendship and sense of community on offer at our developments.”

Everyone at the South London Press thanks you for your continued support.
Former Housing Secretary Robert Jenrick has encouraged everyone in the country who can afford to do so to buy a newspaper, and told the Downing Street press briefing:
“A free country needs a free press, and the newspapers of our country are under significant financial pressure”.
If you can afford to do so, we would be so grateful if you can make a donation which will allow us to continue to bring stories to you, both in print and online. Or, please make cheques payable to “MSI Media Limited” and send by post to South London Press, Unit 112, 160 Bromley Road, Catford, London SE6 2NZ
