World Car Free Day: Join Hammersmith and Fulham’s traffic-free celebrations across this month
Leave your cars and motorcycles at home and join Hammersmith and Fulham’s traffic-free celebrations across this month.
To mark World Car Free Day, the council will be hosting pedestrian-friendly events on September 20 and 21.
Two primary schools get the party started on the Friday with their own car-free street festivities, while the traffic-free North End Road Autumn Festival comes to Fulham from 9am to 5pm on the Saturday, with more than 150 stalls packed with food, drink and gifts, an exciting line-up of live music acts, a wide variety of street entertainment and lots of eco-friendly fun.
Everyone at the South London Press thanks you for your continued support.
Former Housing Secretary Robert Jenrick has encouraged everyone in the country who can afford to do so to buy a newspaper, and told the Downing Street press briefing:
“A FREE COUNTRY NEEDS A FREE PRESS, AND THE NEWSPAPERS OF OUR COUNTRY ARE UNDER SIGNIFICANT FINANCIAL PRESSURE”
If you can afford to do so, we would be so grateful if you can make a donation which will allow us to continue to bring stories to you, both in print and online.
