‘It’s a good question’ – Millwall boss quizzed on Bromley loanee’s future ahead of January transfer window
Neil Harris says Millwall are yet to make a call on Kamarl Grant’s Bromley loan future with the January transfer window on the horizon.
The 21-year-old rejoined at Hayes Lane following Bromley’s promotion from the National League last season and has started every League Two game on loan with the Ravens this campaign.
Grant’s current loan deal has only been signed off until January, but Harris revealed that there is the possibility of extending his stay for the full season should all parties agree.
“It’s a good question,” said the Lions boss.
“We haven’t had those discussions yet.
“What I will say is that we’re really pleased with Kamal’s development, progress and our relationship with Bromley.
“He’s working every day with Alan Dunne, somebody who, as a football club, we know very well and personally, I know very well.
“And in a lot of the games, he’s playing next to Byron Webster, another good Millwall man we know very well. Ben Thompson is playing just in front of him, too.
“It’s a great connection for us and Kamarl is really enjoying himself.
“I’ve seen him myself a couple of times and Adam Barrett went to see him play against Carlisle last week – we’re keeping a real close eye on him.”
