Police appeal for witnesses after pensioner dies after being hit by bus in Roehampton on last Tuesday
Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a man died of his injuries following a road traffic collision in Roehampton Lane, Roehampton.
Officers were called at 2.57pm on Tuesday, 4 December to reports of the collision.
Police, paramedics and the Air Ambulance attended.
A 74-year-old male pedestrian had been in a collision with a bus.
He was taken to hospital by ambulance, where he sadly died in the early hours of Sunday, 9 December.
Formal identification awaits and a post-mortem will be conducted in due course.
Next of kin have been informed.
Officers from the Met’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit are leading.
They are partiularly interested in hearing from anyone who may have been driving in the area and who may have dashcam footage of the incident.
