Four Charlton picks in League One Team of the Week

Jesurun Rak-Sakyi, Albie Morgan and Miles Leaburn have all made League One’s Team of the Week following Charlton’s 6-0 win over Shrewsbury on Saturday.

Dean Holden has also been named manager of the week.

The Addicks broke the deadlock in the 27th minute through Scott Fraser’s free-kick and Albie Mordan doubled their lead nine minutes later after he collected Rak-Sakyi’s pass on the edge of the box.

Palace loanee Rak-Sakyi then bagged himself before half time, driving at the Shrewsbury defence and slipping a shot beyond Marko Marosi.

Leaburn scored a brace midway through the second half and Macauley Bonne wrapped up the scoring in added time to secure Charlton’s sixth.

This was the first time Charlton had scored six at home since their 6-2 triumph over Southampton in 1976.

Holden said after the game: “It is a frustration. You’re stood there at 5-0 thinking if we could have done this more consistently, where would we be in the league?

“But, at the same time, we are where we are. We know what’s gone before I came into the job. We’ve rectified the dangerous position we were in. Regained some ground on Shrewsbury, who are 10th in the league.”
