AFC Wimbledon midfielder Liam Trotter signs for Orange County
BY RICHARD CAWLEY
Liam Trotter has ended his AFC Wimbledon contract by mutual consent – and signed for American side Orange County.
The former Millwall midfielder has struggled for game time under new Dons boss Wally Downes.
“Liam has shown an exemplary attitude in training and when called upon performed well for me,” Downes told the club’s official website. “It’s a shame that first-team opportunities were limited at this stage of his career.
“Liam is a good guy and a good professional.”
