If Not Now, When? A season sculpture at the Saatchi Gallery

It’s the season of sculpture at the Saatchi Gallery and its headline winter exhibition includes artists who have paved the way for modern British sculpture – and they are all women.

Opened on November 15, If Not Now, When? features 29 female sculptors, from the 1960s onwards – including the likes of Helen Chadwick, Cornelia Parker, Phyllida Barlow and Shelagh Wakely.

The exhibition is divided into three chapters and explores the evolving cycles directly affecting women every day.

Everything from feminine values to maternity and climate change – If Not Now, When? lays bare the female experience.

If Not Now, When? is at Saatchi Gallery, in King’s Road, Chelsea, until January 22.
