Tickets released for spook-tacular Halloween party at Natural History Museum
Celebrate the spookiest day of the year at the Natural History Museum this Halloween.
Don your best fancy dress and get to know the natural world’s more misunderstood members in an evening of partying with skeleton specimens.
On October 31, Halloween at the Museum will see the iconic Gothic Revival building in Kensington closed to the public for the day.
Once darkness falls, partygoers will be invited inside under the watchful eye of Hope – a 25-metre blue whale skeleton.
Visitors will have the chance to explore the museum’s galleries, including the world-renowned Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition.
Not for the faint hearted, Halloween at the Museum includes a spooky tour where expert guides introduce some of the collections strangest specimens.
Visitors feeling even braver can opt for a behind-the scenes tour of the spirit collections in the Tank Room, where they will get to peek at the jars and tanks filled with preserved creatures from across the world, including Archie the eight-metre-long giant squid.
Exploring complete, guests will join Sophie the Stegosaurus skeleton for a silent disco with the dinosaurs of Earth Hall. Partygoers will be kitted out with wireless headsets as they join battling DJ’s who will play club classics and new tracks throughout the night.
The event is for over 18-year-olds and will start at 6.45pm, finishing at 11.00pm.
