Charlton Athletic midfielder banned for Stockport County match at The Valley
Charlton Athletic will be without Conor Coventry after the international break with the former West Ham United midfielder suspended.
The 24-year-old midfielder collected his fifth booking of the campaign in Saturday’s 1-0 victory over League One leaders Birmingham City in SE7.
It means Coventry has been cautioned in the Addicks’ three most recent league fixtures.
He also went in the book in the 2-0 win against Bolton Wanderers at The Valley at the end of August as well as the 1-0 victory at Shrewsbury the following month.
Coventry will sit out the home game against Stockport County on October 19.
Saturday’s match at Burton Albion was postponed by the hosts due to international call-ups.
