Dillon Phillips will miss Charlton’s home game against Shrewsbury Town on Saturday after suffering a concussion in training.

The young stopper has been back-up to first-choice goalkeeper Ben Amos this season.

Addicks boss Karl Robinson said: “Dillon had a knock on Monday in a game – Pearcey [Jason Pearce] clattered him.

“He has a slight concussion and is out for six days, that is league protocol.”

Winger Tariqe Fosu is expected to resume training tomorrow.

“After that we’ll only have Stephy [Mavididi] and Clarkey [Billy Clarke] out,” added Robinson.

“Stephy seems to be flying. He had another scan which we’re all quite happy with. We’re only a few weeks away from only having Clarkey unavailable.

“Naby Sarr is back training now. I have got a big decision what we do on the bench.”
