Oat and nut bars… perfect as a healthy snack between meals
English apple season starts in autumn, so it’s the perfect time to be buying and enjoying this home-grown produce. 21st October marks UK Apple Day so lots of time to practice some recipes.
These delicious JAZZ Apple, Oat & Nut Bars are perfect as a healthy snack between meals when you’re hungry or low on energy.
What’s even better is that they only contain five ingredients and require absolutely no cooking! It’s a win-win!
JAZZ Apple, Oat & Nut Bars
Ingredients
(Makes around 8-10 bars)
1 JAZZ™ apple (diced into small pieces and baked on the lowest oven setting for 30 mins or use a dehydrator)
1 cup Medjool dates (soaked in water and roughly chopped)
1 cup cashews
½ cup oats
¼ cup peanut butter
Method
Add all the ingredients to a food processor and blitz.
Press down into your biscuit moulds and refrigerate overnight.
Cut into bars and enjoy!
