Lemons Lemons Lemons Lemons Lemons playing at the Harold Pinter Theatre

What would you say if you could only speak 140 words a day?

That is the question that Sam Steiner’s debut play Lemons Lemons Lemons Lemons Lemons poses to its audience.

The play explores the importance of our words by imagining a world where speech is restricted and begs the question: “You’re going to speak more than 123 million words in your lifetime. What will you do when they run out?”

Lemons, directed by Josie Rourke will be coming to the Harold Pinter Theatre for a limited run from January 18– March 18.

The romcom, starring Jenna Coleman and Aidan Turner centres on the blossoming romance between a lawyer and a musician who are at the mercy of a Quietude bill.

The production is designed by Robert Jones with lighting design by Aideen Malone, sound design by George Dennis, movement by Annie-Lunette Deakin-Foster and costume design by Kinnetia Isidore.
