Entertainers’ director James Taylor guarantees that the show will be loved by everyone. It charts the skyrocketing career of the multi award-winning legend Madonna.
He said: “Combining thrilling vocal and enchanting stage presence, this production will let your body move to the music.
“Theatregoers can take time to celebrate all of Madonna’s million-selling hits, including, Holiday, Like A Prayer, Papa Don’t Preach, Vogue, Material Girl, Music, Hung Up, and of course, Into the Groove.
Performing as Madonna, Elly Jarmain said: “The very first 45 I bought, at the age of eight, was Into the Groove.”
“I was a massive Madonna fan as a child. I remember the first time I saw her – on TV’s Top of the Pops. I was mesmerised by her fashion sense and attitude.”
As well as recreating Madonna’s greatest hits live on stage, Into the Groove also reflects Madonna’s reputation as a fashion icon.
“With 56 costume changes squeezed into the spectacular,” said Elly, “and scores of high-energy routines featuring the show’s dancers, there’s a lot that goes into a performance of Into the Groove.”
