London Dungeon Halloween Show

The home of Halloween, the London Dungeon, is pulling out all the scream-inducing stops this year to create a truly terrifying experience for anyone ready to test their mettle and explore London’s darkest history this scary season.

The infamous characters Sweeney Todd, Jack the Ripper, Mrs Lovett and the Plague Doctor have been saving up the scares, sharpening their tools and even recruiting a new chilling character, to make this year’s show the scariest yet.

Free Community Wellness Classes

Pop Brixton has announced the return of its free community wellness classes, taking place twice a week, and open to visitors of all abilities.

On Monday evenings from 7pm – 8pm, the venue will host gong bath yoga classes, and on Wednesday mornings from 11am – 12pm, the space will welcome stretch inc. for hour-long community stretch sessions.

The venue has also announced a series of regular music events, including fortnightly open mic nights from mental health charity Key Changes, monthly DJ workshops from Rhythm Sister, and free monthly DJ nights from Afarari Records.

Kids Tickets £1 BFI London Film Festival

BFI London Film Festival with American Express will begin on October 6, taking place at BFI Southbank and participating venues around London.

There is fun for all the family, and the young at heart, with the LFF Family programme.

Much-loved animation studio Aardman presents Robin Robin, the story of a young robin brought up by a family of mice who must learn the ropes to fit in.

There is also the joyful Ape Star, a film that celebrates difference and diversity, and is full to the brim with heart.
Tickets for the family strand screenings are just £1 for children and £10 for adults.

The Streets UK Tour

The Streets have announced a UK headline tour for the start of 2022 following a summer of unforgettable festival appearances.

Mike Skinner and his band will bring their vital live show to cities throughout the country for eleven dates, including at Brixton’s O2 Academy.

Sleeping Beauty and the Beast

Award-winning company Sleeping Trees are firm family favourites, with their hilarious mashups of different panto/fairy tales.

This year they are celebrating being back in the building again with a live, laughing audience, for their new who-dunnit panto-mystery show Sleeping Beauty and the Beast.

The pay what you can is the price for every single ticket makes this a budget-friendly family show.
