Man stabbed at bus stop in Brockley as shoppers watched in horror

A man was stabbed at a bus stop opposite a popular row of shops as bystanders watched in horror.

The victim was attacked near the bus stop opp. Brockley’s Rock Fish & Chip Shop on Brockley Road, Brockley, at lunchtime on Tuesday December 28.

Witnesses described seeing a heavily bandaged man rushed to hospital after what appeared a targeted attack. Roads nearby were also blocked off.

Police had been called at 3.29pm to reports of an injured male at Brockley Road, Brockley.

At the scene a male, aged 20s, was found with knife injuries.

He was taken by ambulance to a South London hospital. His condition has been assessed as not life-threatening.

At this early stage there have been no arrests.

A crime scene remains in place.
