New community centre launched for budding entrepreneurs and creatives

A new community centre supporting young entrepreneurs and creatives from ethnic minority backgrounds will open its doors early next month.

Sapphire Space Community Centre will open to the public with a launch event in Kensington High Street, Kensington on February 2.

The new centre, equipped with hot desks, fixed workspaces and private offices, will be available for people aged between 16 and 40.

The space aims to support the needs of young people from ethnic minority backgrounds, particularly those facing economic disadvantages. 

Launched in partnership with the Sapphire Leadership Academy – which currently provides mentoring and advice to 1,444 young people – the Sapphire Space Community Centre will also provide educational opportunities for its visitors.

The academy offers a wide range of subjects, including Leadership, Financial Management, Public Speaking, Project Management, Business Planning, Writing Techniques, Bid Writing, Branding and Identity.
