Postive tests for Covid-19 continues to rise in Wandsworth

The rate of coronavirus in Wandsworth has continued to rise slightly, new data from Public Health England shows.

The rate of cases per 100,000 people was 381 on August 8 but had increased to 404 by August 21 – an increase of 23 cases per 100,000 people.

As of August 23, 1,333 people living in the borough have tested positive for the virus since March.

Since Sunday, August 16, 38 people have tested positive for the virus in the borough.

On August 21, 11 people tested positive for the virus. In London, 6,167 people have died of the virus since the beginning of the pandemic.
