Charlton and Wimbledon to find out EFL Trophy opponents this week

Charlton Athletic and AFC Wimbledon will find out their EFL Trophy round of 32 opponents on Friday.

The live draw will take place live on Sky Sports News at 6:30 pm on November 24.

Sky Sports’ Michelle Owen will host the draw alongside Jermaine Beckford and former Crystal Palace striker Clinton Morrison.

The Addicks booked their place in this round after a 3-0 win over Sutton United at The Valley on Tuesday evening. They finished second in Group J, behind table toppers Crawley.

Johnnie Jackson’s Wimbledon finished second in Group K after suffering a 1-0 defeat at Wycombe last Saturday.

The draw remains regionalised until the semi-final stage.

Each team could be drawn against Milton Keynes, Portsmouth, Reading or West Ham U21’s side.

If either side is drawn against the young Hammers, then the tie will take place at home.
