Former Charlton man linked with Dons exit

AFC Wimbledon defender Terell Thomas is reportedly a target for several Championship clubs this summer.

The former Charlton Athletic youngster signed for the Dons in the summer of 2018 and has made 73 appearances and scored one goal.

The Daily Mail are reporting that Blackburn and Barnsley are weighing up a move for the centre-back, with Sunderland also keeping tabs.

The 25-year-old is set to leave Plough Lane on a free transfer after his contract ends this summer.

Thomas hasn’t played since January after being hospitalised with pneumonia.

After months of recovery, the former Wigan Athletic player was named on the bench for the Dons’ last game of the season against Lincoln City.
