Former Millwall youngster Fred Onyedinma makes League One free agent move
Wycombe Wanderers have re-signed midfielder Fred Onyedinma on a free transfer for a fourth time.
The 27-year-old has had two previous loan spells and a permanent move in July 2019 to Wycombe before in his career.
Onyedinma made eight Premier League appearances for Luton in the second half of the 2023-24 season but spent the start of the season with Championship side Rotherham, scoring two goals in his 16 Championship appearances.
He made 151 appearances for the Lions after progressing through the club’s academy and Onyedinma was part of their League One play-off winning side in 2017, but he pushed hard for a permanent move to Wycombe Wanderers in July 2019.
The attacker registered 27 goal contributions at senior level for Millwall in all competitions.
“Fred has been one of the standout performers in each of his three previous spells with Wycombe and we’re delighted that he’s agreed to come back and be part of the exciting squad that we are building here,” Wycombe manager Matt Bloomfield said.
“We’ve all been working extremely hard as a collective behind the scenes to continue to build this club. Fred is central to this.”
