Jean-Philippe Mateta’s first-half strike was enough to give Crystal Palace their first win of the 2024-25 season as they beat Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 on Sunday afternoon.

A defeat would have put more pressure on boss Oliver Glasner and seen the Eagles make their worst-ever Premier League start.
